CERTIFED EQUINE SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPIST
Morgan Dominick
As an avid equine enthusiast, my love for horses started at 10 years old. After spending most of my childhood/adolescent years riding and showing, I attended the University of Florida where I earned a B.S. in Animal Science with a specialization in Equine Industry. After several years of working on horse farms and in veterinary facilities, I began working at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore where I honed my skills in animal training and conditioning as well as developing essential skills in observing and interpreting animal behavior.
While I enjoyed my time at the zoo, horses have always been my passion and I began looking to bring them back into my life in a way that I felt was meaningful and productive. In 2023, I received my certification in Equine Sports Massage Therapy through the Equissage program and began Synergistic Equine Wellness, LLC. I love learning and will continue to broaden my education in order to offer a variety of non-invasive, integrative therapies that will improve your horse’s well-being and overall health.
I value the trust my clients place in me when allowing me to work on their horses and I hope you will make Synergistic Equine Wellness part of your horse’s regular healthcare team. I look forward to working with you and helping your horse feel and perform their best!
Equine Sports Massage Therapy
Equine Sports Massage is a specialized massage therapy tailored to the needs of our four-legged athletes, helping them achieve peak performance while minimizing the risk of injuries. By enhancing their range of motion and alleviating muscular limitations, this therapy plays a crucial role in keeping our equine partners in top shape. Just like human athletes, horses are frequently required to perform maneuvers that can lead to repetitive stress injuries, making regular maintenance bodywork and recovery treatments highly beneficial.
Kinesiology Taping
Kinesiology tape is a therapeutic tape that is applied strategically to the horse’s body in order to provide support to muscles and joints, increase circulation, decrease fatigue, improve proprioception and more! When paired with a sports massage, kinesiology taping can act as an extension of your horse’s massage! Ask about this service during your horse’s next session!
